i dragged myself to work this morning after waking up at 8am!! work n training has taken a toll of my life.. half the week haven even pass.. n i m feeling so tired..
training wasnt too bad last evening.. managed to do wat i have been thinking bout up in my head for the past 2 days... not much opportunities cos drills were limited.. but i managed to do a few.. = )
the right of my neck is stiff... cant really turn my neck.. = ( back aching bits.. yeah.. bits..
sat's coming.. whee!! wheee!! wheeeeeeeeeee!!! but i haven yet to know whois coming.. so pls guys.. let me noe ya?? so tt i wun wait for ya in vain if u are not coming.. so dun break my heart ya.. hehe...
oh ya.. i had my 1st cake of the yr already.. shared with 4 of my colleagues.. lee lee(21mar), mr loke(26mar), marie(1apr), meihui(2apr).. *happi bdae to me.......haha*

i dislike the word, "VISIT"visit sucks.. especially after today's visit from the Thai Commission on Higher Education. maybe i shdnt blame them.. their time is pretty short here... so they are trying as hard to meet up and do as much as possible.. but they must tink of the pre-arranged stuff... they are messing up stuff by giving us last minutes wanna-dos...*i forgive them for the $39++ lunch tt i sat in*
sob sob... im so tired... esp my foot... Nooooo.. im not... im not.. haha!
i was really tired last evening at training... Ronnie let me off.. after i 'simply' fell(more like i jellied and tripped and plopped) while doing a drill!! haha.. so clowny and clumsy rite?? hais... i got a couple of things to work on.. but im not gonna say it here!! haha... u will noe it on the pitch.. hopefully i can do it.. n i tink i will.. haha.. cos i have been playing it in my head since last nite!! haha...
wahahha..muhahha..hehhahaha... *tireness setting in already...*

How i spend my looong weekend...Fri: spent my whole day with Shaun, Diana, Lim, Kelv, Suren, Fen n Xiu.. watched The Wedding Date plus an eating marathon day all of us had.. lunch at Scotts, bubble tea break..coffee and pastry break at Starbucks, dinner at Cahaya den prata supper at Jalan Kayu with Robina.. *was great & thx Suren for sending me back despite getting lost!*
Sat: had my hair color changed, together with Xiu.. played Jansenites in the evening.. we won 10-0.. was glad with my performance too.. 3 good saves.. at least a clean sheet... haha!! had light Ya Kun dinner with Lil, Jean & Leng..
Sun: Dim Sum breakie with Qiao, Lil, Jean & Leng.. yum yum.. followed by movie, In Good Company.. bought my Limegreen Crumpler Bag!! wheee!! so happy!! went shopping at Far East.. Went delta and video-taped the SRC Men's game against SCC.. den dinner at Redhill.. *so glad tt i met Mat Noor at delta.. Melvyn at mkt..*
feeling pretty okie today.. mebbe cos my bdae's coming.. yeah!! 7 more days to go!! anyway!! if u haven heard off... or u have got the msg... Guys n Gals.. Cooks' celebrating her bdae at O BAR coming sat, 2nd April , after 10.. u are all invited... = ) *pass the word ard ya?? would love to see u guys there.. yeah.. u.. yes.. u.... *

it's all deep hidden...yeah.. im sad.. yes i am..u think i like being who i am now?? unproductive? not performing up to expectations?? u think i like it?? *seeing balls flying past..trickling past.. legs going wobbly.. back aching.. shoulder tightening... brain unfocused.. morale low..*
my ans is NO.. never will i wanna be like this.. the feeling isnt great.. im suffering,, do u know?? it's not easy..making a comeback.. i thought it would be easy.. but it's not.. once lost... it's impossible to regain the lost fully...
i know i can make it.. cos i have come a long way.. the way has yet to end.. there is still a long way ahead... i will walk this way.. strong... i refused to give up ..
juz be here for me.. i juz need that one word of encouragement and comfort to keep me going... pls hold on to me.. dun let me off... im afraid.. though i know im holding on tightly.. cos i dun wanna lose it......... i dun wan.. i dun wan....

Trainings been the same.. We have been doing practically the same drills everyday since we got back from our korea trip in July03. Morale is low.. Wish i could do something bout it... My own morale is low too.. I know i need to have tt self motivation.. I must have it...

Day of Cook's life...im going for my advance theory soon.... super drained out already.. from work n doing up ishak's blog..... yet to do a proper read thru for my test.. shall do so on the bus , provided i dun get dizzy... will miss out on club training tonight.. plus the post open house dinner at work.. sob sob... adv is more impt.. hehehe... me goin to get my PDL too.. tata!! out i go!! wish me luck..

yesterday was sunday.... *and i felt goooood*i spent my entire weekend doing hockey related stuff... watched the div 2 gals game against SCC... premier men's game against Chenab.. score 1-0 & 2-2 respectively... but i have no regrets spending my weekends away this way... = )
developed my pix with the GZ player, DanPing today.. so.. im gonna pen a MT letter soon... yeah yeah... im glad i haven lost my chinese totally... *phew...*
met linda for lunch.. bought shak's pressie.. n my pink Adidas bandana too..
had dinner with the crappy yet fun-lovin gang *shaun suren kelvin shak jack jeet kokchin lim xiu sheena diana* at Brekos.. didnt drop by jane n gang at coffee bean either.. too tired...
so many thingys to do.. even as i type this sentence.. i gt my ironing to do.. my letter.. my adv theory on tues.. packing for tom's training.. n most imptly, resting my body... so out i go.. blog soon...

wat a Premier League start...yeah..... *tts a low morale-ed 'yeah'*
We played our 1st game against our padang neighbour, SCC.. yes.. we drew nil-nil with them... they held us so well... or shd i said we played terribly?? i bet the latter one shd be the right ans...
well... forget bout it.. we need to move on... we will play better for our upcoming games.. long way to go ya... jia you!! look ahead!!
my thoughts:
*when i was 14, i used to think playing recreationally for a club would be a purely fun-filled thingy to do... when i was released by SHF to play for club, gotten my membership,i was overwhelmed with joy... initially, i enjoyed myself lotsa playing with my mates whom i am still playing with now.. but now.. thingys arent the same anymore... everything has turned purely into a Must-Win situation.. Be it the normal league games.. or even supposely carnivals... why?? why must thingys be like this.. i dun like it this way... but i have to adapt to it... time has gotten me to learn and adjust to the situation that was paved down... for now.. it's just me... play HARD... play WELL.. FUN play for myself...
am i playing hockey in a glasshouse whereby u can see me through? can u understand my thoughts & feelings? do u know wat im going through?? can u? if only u can.. & since u cant.. jolly well keep ur comments to urself...*

I miss you, my blog!Been exactly 15days since I last blog! Yup… I have set my foot on Guangzhou & left plenty of carbon dioxide there too!! Okie.. I shall make this short and sweet!!
3March: Fen came to send us off.. sat all alone onboard cos I was supposed to return early alone for NUS Open House.. sob sob.. gusts of cold wind welcomed us at the airport.. all were excited by the vapour formed as we spoke!! Haha… I wore my beanie!! Whee!!
Settled down at the sports centre.. didn’t expect the room to be tt goood… had our own INITIATION NITE… I was named as one of the initiators cos the ‘seniors’ proclaimed tt I have yet to do any since I joined the team.. orite.. I glady accepted tt appointment.. big sacrifices I made.. did the BIO-ORE Porepack adverb by sticking super duper big blackhead across my cheeks n nose.. not forgetting steff’s self-made sanitary lookalike Porepack!! All in that cannot make in Hongkee Tong accent!! Glad everyone enjoyed it..
4-7March: 1st 2 trainings & games ( against GZ 2nd state team) were real test for the team as we had to work at a rate of 150% hardwork to keep our body & muscles warm in that cold windy weather!! Never in Singapore will u see us train in full tracksuit, gloves, beanies and even thick winter jacket (loaned to us by the china nat team) on top of our grays attire! We also went for Korean dinner feast hosted by the china national ladies’ coach, Mr Kim Chang Back!! Yum yum!! Everyone were so happy and crazy over training.. doing translation of steff’s stupid mushroom joke in Hokkien, Japanese, Thai & Cantonese!! *steff ying jan & qiao left us on 7Mar*
8March: This day was declared as the shopping day! Everyone woke up excitedly!! We gonna get our Macs lunch since we have craved for it since the 1st day!! Went to Beijing & Lao-Shu (Mouse) streets where we tried and succeeded with our bargaining skills!! So proud of ourselves!! As we were taught by the china players to at least start the bargaining price at 40% of wat was quoted!! Everyone felt like queen!! Oh ya.. before I forgot.. Xiu, Leng & myself had this fetish of taking pictures with the street signages over in GZ.. my pix will tell ya more! As this was supposely my only shopping day. I had almost spend all my money on food goodies.. thus lugging armful of plastic bags back to the centre… end of shopping day means back to training days!!
9March: we were done with pitch training but coach had fitness for us in mind already.. I missed the 1st morning fitness as I was down with diarrhea but played the subsequent afternoon match against the Guangzhou 2nd state team in a ‘spinny’ state!! * we could have easily beat them if we have our full senior side & if we have our full senior side.. we could have play their 1st team!!*
10March: Joined the team for my 1st fitness run followed by a game of ‘Hatum Bola’ aka Poisonous Ball on the open field.. Guess wat.. Coach kindly cancelled our afternoon’s fitness and granted us shopping rights!! We headed for this street full of A-grade sports imitation stuff.. whereby u could get an Adidas sport bag at S$6 = RMB$30!! * how cheap rite?* Tian He Cheng aka TeeMall was our 2nd destination… everyone practically headed for the supermarket and combed all the food stuff off the racks! Time passed so quickly.. next moment I realised… I was busy trying to squeeze all my shopping stuff into my luggage and keeper bag!! And continue with our usual round of JIM RAMEE , a card game which made my room 310 the official DEN!!
11March: the day has come for me to bid farewell… I have to followed Mindy to send the team on their 3rd shopping trip w/o me this time round at Shang Xia Jiu before I head back to the sports center for my luggages!! I has a personal LIMO to send me to airport!! Hehehe… at the airport.. I had to plead with the young officer not to charge me excess baggage cos of my keeper bag.. & he was so understanding after my much explanation that im actually with a team but cos I have to go back alone early for work reason.. otherwise.. I will be charge RMB$1400 for my excess at RMB$70 for everyone 1KG!! That wasn’t the end.. my China beer didn’t clear the china custom.. so I have to surrender the beer (which costs my less than S$5) that I have bought for Sue, RobinA, Jer and Papa.. sob sob.. afterall.. travelling alone wasn’t tt bad and frightening except the excess baggage part!! I landed in Singapore safely..
12March: woke up early..reported for work at 0730 for NUS Open House… im so glad things went on so well!! Big big round of applause for my colleagues; Mr Loke, Mei Mei Hui, Macik Mariana, Marie, Fred the Frog, Tempies Shermaine & Eliz!! Thanks for covering on my duty where I was away training hard and shopping too!!
Now.. im continuing my 2nd round of diarrhea at home… sob sob… my 500++++pictures should be up soon.. Lil’s passing me hers too so tt I can upload for her too… oh ya… Premier starting this week!! SRC Pplaying SCC at 430pm!!as I have begun to believe.. I play for MYSELF… n the Nation!! Im glad I did well for the GZ state.. cept for 2 mistakes!! I will rem and work on it coach!!
For now.. time to take medicine … back to my bed… I need to be ready for my two visits tomorrow at work!! Poly principals’ dialogue session with Provost & Visit by the Rwanda Foreign Minister

Less than 10 hours to go... *time's tickling past*whee!! in less den 10 hours.. i will be on SQ804.. heading towards the people's republic!! yeah yeah!! im done with my luggage.. im like puttin every single thing tt i see into it.. guess almost every belonging of mine.. except for my bed.. haha...okie... yeah yeah.. im finally feelin ZZz so im goin to Zz after this entry...
evening wasnt too bad.. rushed down to marina south to have dinner with leon, kelvin, n few leon's era's frens.. * i rushed down..cos i didnt get to meet leon last nite as i decided to meet up with shaun instead..needed to sort out some thoughts and do some catching ups .. so i felt bad.. n wanted to meet him b4 he leave * anyway.. he's already on the plane now..heading back home.. haha...
had a talk bout certain issues.. will try to sort it out before i trash it out here!! haha... meanwhile.. 2 sentences to live by.. i play HARD for myself.. & the nation too! with no regrets.. = )
day at work wasnt too bad either.. colleagues been great.. esp tt we agreed to have our own CE *corporate events* blog!! ( i did it with the help of jessie!!)
also.. thx to fellow teammates & frens like Mother Choo, Shak, Robina! & Linda for remembering and wishing me a safe n fruitful trip.. thx RobinA.. i will bear in mind wat u said.. *have a good game..be confident!!dun tink so much even if goal go in.. and play the game!!*
lastly.. i will try ( i want la) to blog if possible when im over in GZ.. yeah... 9hrs!!

F***ked up morning..You wanna hear how my morning went?? Yeah.. Here it goes..
1st.. I woke up... N my Papa said to go to work on my own... It was okay cos he offered to pay for my cabby ride...
2ndly.. There i was waiting at the junction.. 1 tibs cab came.. N i hailed .. This guy (who has been sitting ard n showed no indications of waiting for a cab) walked up .. Okay.. I kindly gave in to him.. I didnt wanted to be a bitch.. So i waited n waited... Bloody hell..argghhh... There were this trio of MINAHs!! ( minahs - malay version of Ah-Lians) were standing like 50m away from me.. Another cab came.. One of them juz 'so discretly' stretched out her tiny weeny hand... FINE!! I was so FINE with tt... 1 Minah down.. 2 more to go..
Meanwhile.. There were 2 chinese Ah-Lians 200m away... Got onto 2 cabs and went past me!! I was funming already!!! WTF!! I looked at my watch... It showed..08: 47.. Im way late... This wasnt the end of everything... Then..came this tibs cab tt stopped right infront of me.. Out came tt guy whom i gave the cab too...signalling to someone.. I turned my head.. N i saw tt 2 Minahs running * oops i mean trying to run* towards him... yeah..trying damn hard!! Up the cab n off they go...
I usually dun condemn this ppl.. But for today.. Mats & Minahs are condemned... Cos they were in my way!! Chinese Ah Lians too...
Taxi drivers are next on my condemn list.. So many empty cabs with tt 'on call' signages were strooming past me like nobody's biz.. So Despicable !! I bet it's part of those tactis where they just wanna get ppl to book a cab and zzzooom .. They will be here in 3 mins!
Ill be back later today... Backie to work.. Needed to let off some fume b4 i start my day...
