Tiring yet Fruitful training
training ended 3 hrs ago.. n im still here blogging... decided to blog once b4 i end my day.. training was awesome.. robinA was there.. *thx robinA so much.. for your advise... understanding, patience & most imptly.. your time* i will bear in mind wat ya said!! thx you so much!! u r my IDOL!!! haha!! u have always been since i was young... *blush*
my I-T-Band is way too tight.. too many knots. fen rubbed it down 4 me b4 training.. now i can see all the bruises. feeling it too.. n i rubbed somemore... used the trigger ball too after i settled down at home... oh ya... b4 i forget..tt sunil gotta squeezed the moisturizer onto my face while i was in pain..it was realli pain-breaking!!! *thx ar* luckily..now my peeling face needs tt... if not.. i will pour the whole bottle on u! haha....
i'll be at trainin again!!tom.. i wanna take those hard shots from the guys!!! so many thingys to keep in mind:

Wat a day.. Wat an environment im in...
Days haven been great this week... Sob sob.... Though im heading guangzhou...
Let me sidetrack abit b4 i start complaining... "i watched Extreme Gourmet last nite.. Guess wat?? They featured the weird extremey cuisines of GUANGZHOU!!! The locals claimed that WATER COCKROACHES (imagine the gluey intestine juices that shoots out with the 1st 2 crunches!) & FIELD MICE (M-I-C-K-E-Y-M-O-U-S-EEEE) are delicacies.. Oh mine... I shall juz be a vegetarian when im over there.. Who knows wat kinda meat they serve...*shrugs*"
Time passing real slow today.... Im lookin forward to trainin... NOOoooooo... Im not... I juz rem that we have got BEEP! Test later on... Im so tired now.. Hahhahahaa..... Me goin to post some pictures here.. Whee Doink Doink!!

Continued from this afternoon's entry...
juz came out from shower.. turned on my air-con, radio & pc... went for dinner with shak, nordin & ying after training.. *had a great workout today.. thx nord.. for bein so understanding today...our tireness from sixes ytd.. = )* training was pretty manageble.. with 5 rounds warm-up..no agility runs... slow warming up drills at keepers with the players...
>stop n scoop n push (b4 cones) to keeper (in D)
>fast ball carrying follwed by sharp turn into D (my left) with a fast shot at keeper..
>carry ball across cone juz b4 D, turn body n pull ball to fore and quick shot at goal..
>one hand ball ctrl , running with ball into D ( my left) n shots..
>sweeps/hits/ pushes for ctrl kicks by keepers back to player for a rebound shot..
>6aside game
wat i managed to do today.. *need to correct my basics*
> kept my legs together in ready position..
> shuffled on the spot.. to prevent rooting..
> ball in middle line of my body...
> stay low when out for shot!

anyway... i gotta move on.. like wat nordin said.. we cant let the negative stuff affect our performance.. i will learn from this.. yesh.. i will...be it feelings..or ppl...n shak's too.. we gotta make use of wat we have... i will.... i miss nordin's coachin.... like how we trained for SRC u21 last time... those knockards sessions at padangs on friday evenings... those serious and nonsensial times with nord...it's no longer the same...
had great news from mgr mindy earlier!! we gonna get $200 dollars equipment budget + one day shopping trip in Guangzhou!! yeah!! *im not missing it.. but those coming back on 7th will miss it!!hahahaha...* sad news is that BEEP!! test this wed!!! sob sob.... level 8 ... is my target.. haha...

Results for Nat'l Sixes werent great... Esp for us... U21 gals, open mens & premier mens won their titles.. Cept us.. Lost to SCC in the finals.. 1-0... Well.. Well... Nuttin much to talk bout... Blog bout too.. Great disappointment with myself..... *sob sob*
Im upset.. Yesh.. I am... Bout the diff styles of coach... Im confused.. I dunno ... Im juz utterly disappointed in a certain person... Im sorry... Mebbe its me... Yeah.. It's me...

I gave my PC a 2nd life!! It's ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!oh my... oh my god!!! i cant believe it!!!! im actually on MSN now.. checked my mails.. blogging now!!! i seriously cant believe it!! im using my home PC.. *yes!! the one the i comitted sucide for it!!!* i gave it a new life!! haha...*pinched her cheeks!!*
okie.. though im not a computer genius.. but im so PROUD of myself now.. for that i gave my PC another chance... it must have sensed the love and patience i have for it all these yrs.. thus fighting hard with me this time!! yeah yeah!!! im so happy!! *hugs her monitor and CPU!!* alrite... i admited.. though wat i did may sound simple to u guys out there.. but i did miracle for my PC!! *shyly* i only downloaded the internet explorer 6 and re-install everything!! hahahaha....
thanks PC!! for fighting so hard!! to myself too!! for not giving up !! i perserved!!! both my dearest PC SURVIVED!!! whoooooo!! * dance ard!!! dance n hop and jump!!!!!!!!* guess i wun be able to sleep already!! too happy!!! yeah yeah!!!!
im actually quite tired today.. trained for 3 consecutive days since wed.. had SRC training earlier at CCAB.. was so pathetic... only myself fen, leng, mother choo, pris sia, steff, wanting, heather, yixin & jiahui went!! and guess wat..season starting end Feb.. and Sixes is this Sun!! hais.. anyway.. im GLAD!! cos i did the goals which i laid out for myself today!! whee!!! i shall come out with a checklist for myself for every training!!
wat went well:
>relax.. forget bout being in super duper top form!!tinking tt ppl's lloking at me!! ( forgot bout them!) relax... no stress..
>always keep ball in the middle line of my body
>close up quickly on attacker after she beat my defender!! ( did 3 slide tackes on wanting.. sorry gal.. not gonna give ya so much time to take a shot at me!! )

wat need to be improve:
>to take small shuffling steps when attacker together with my defender moves along the D..(ishak's reversed went in cos i took too big a step!! n didnt stay low enuff!)
>alert!!! even if my player is in for a tackle.. (fen's hit went in cos i wan 'daydreaming' ?? hesitated cos Ben was within reach!! hais!! work on it!!)
>calling.. (clashed with leng when i went for a clearance on the left!! sorry leng!!)
basically... i have a great training!! like wat tze always says... make small goals!! n i achieved it!! yeah yeah!!! anyway.. gonna send tze off in less than 6 hours time.. she is flying off the Beijing at 9.. sob sob.... miss u so much!!! esp now at trainings... miss ur encouragements and guidance.. i will wait for u to come back !! jia you tze!!
lastly.. im not going to fuss bout sixes.. im not going to care bout how ppl judge me irregardless of my play... yeah.. i admit i care alot bout how ppl look at my play... that's y im always so stressed up bout hitting back to my top form way before i hit my slipped-disc stage... juz play my best can liaos!! jia you!! as long i give my 100%.. im gonna be okie... im gonna be strong... yes.. like Mr Park always says... Painstakingly day...Bad bad... Im having a bad bad cramp... My back hurts too... Everything's not going on well for me since ytd...
1st: Bad training last night.. (back-ached & legs were weak n tired..)
2nd: Cramped since this morning...
3rd: Cant seem to find the minutes that i took for the last section meeting!!! ( shit!!!) i must have 'accidentally' threw it away... *sounds like my modem case*
All this's not gonna cheer me up at all... Despite the fact that im gonna head for Guangzhou ( my leave's approved)... Despite the fact that im gonna get a new pc.. ( huge sum of $$ gonna be spent)
Conclusion: bad bad bad bad... This is bad... Bad bad bad bad....
SolutionS: Cry out loud... Stay grumpy.. Crack my brains n try to remember what was said and discussed at the last meeting..

2.5 day working week ( this week)Wats with my heading? Well well.. It means that im working 2.5 days this week! As you can see.. Im gonna be clearing my OverTime(OT) on wed afternoon followed by thurs and fri.. Yeah!! Long weekend rest... Finally...
Anyway... I cant wait to blog this time round cos i need to let the world know how 'smart' i was last friday when i tried to 'clean' up my goodie old PC up at home.. I seriously cannot forgive myself this time round... I ACTUALLY ACCIDENTALY deleted the modem away!! Even with the ' are u sure u wanna deleted' window popping up!! How 'smart i was'.. Cos of my smartness action, i have to buy a new PC as my goodie old PC has been suffering from some disabilties (spoilt CD-rom drive..spoilt sound card.. Retarded as it's running on pentium 2!!!) haha... But i still love tt goodie old C of mine.. Cant bear to throw it away shd i get my new one.. Hais... It has been with me for so many yrs.. Since 98? Sob sob... This also means that im gonna burn a big hole in my pocket!! But it's all for a good cause... *new PC*
Anyway.. I juz uploaded the 2 latest pix of my life.. Juz below this entry.. The monkey-nish me (taken by Kelv's k700i) and the one i took with cousin Isabelle! Isn't she sweet? Hehe...
I have also somehow decided that im gonna remove the Tagboard from my blog since it's not frequently use... Yet occupies so much space!! Haha... Wat ya think??
Today's V-day.. To all my frens out there... Happy day ya? May ya recieve tonnes of flowers n chocos... While i'll be at delta pitch slogging my life away this evening with some of the other gals.. *mind you..im trainin hard for china trip*...Haha...
China trip is really round the corner~~ whee.. Im gonna walk to my mgr's office in 15mins.. She is backie from meeting.. She has been sitting on my letter... Since last tues... I SAW ' supported n signed off n stamped by my Director!!' on my letters!! *wish me luck*

On the 1st day of the LNY, I was at O bar..yeah... the gang was there.. myself, char, zee, leon, suren, shak, jack, jer, kelv, kok chin, marcus & rahimah were there.. guess wat.. ultimate thingy of the nite was tt our dear suren gt high on 2 shots of barcadi 151 (by the lim bros, paul n leon!) the night was also great with those silly challenging games we played on ourselves.. such as the '5-10' game.. the loser will have to kiss a target either on the cheeks or lips or even ears decided by the rest of the game members.. orite.. i kena quite a few... cheeks.. lips.. ears.. u name it.. i did it! so did the rest! haha...got home in one piece.. no drunkard state like new yr's eve!! phew**
anyway.. ang bao collection wasnt too bad either... hit 100 at least despite of my absence.. the ang baos came still.. shows tt my relatives still remember me.. haha... i gt my reasons for not visiting them... 1stly was tt i got back so late this morning.. so morning visit was definitely out for me as i needed to catch up on my sleep.. 2ndly, i 'offered' to keep my doggie company at home as my parents & bro went on their visiting rounds.. but seriously.. i realliy felt so awful and embarrassed to recieve ang baos though.. haha.. its not tt im really old.. but.. i dun feel tt anxiety anymore..

reunion dinner was awesome.. this yr's different as my parents decided to eat dine together with my grandparents, uncles n aunties.. not forgetting my little cousins too ( Darryl & Isabelle)!! i like Isabelle lotsa though ytd was the 1st time i met her.. i shall upload her pix on fri n post it here!! the pix we took together is now my hp's wallpaper!!
it's already the 2nd day of LNY .. & here i am.. blogging away.. decided to view my new blog outlook from my home pc.. alright.. a little re-chap of last weekend's activities... my entire right column juz disappeared ... no template on hand.. can only amend everything on fri when i get back to office..

Ooooohh... Lunar New Yr is here ONCE again...
It's not that i hate LNY.. It's just that i dun feel tt excitement tt i used to get whenever LNY is here.. Maybe cos when i was younger, collecting Ang Baos seems to be so challenging last time.. Especially when my cousins and my sibing, not forgetting myself who will greedily ripped up all the red packets that contains notes of dollars behind closed doors.. Haha!! Then.. Compare and check so and so relative gave how much! And thus, condemning tt particular relative if a 2-dollars ang bao was his/hers! Haha.. Followed by the lump sum comparison.. Those were the days...
Now? Me? Turining 23 *counting with her fingers* in 54 days dreads collecting ang baos and meeting my those forever-so-concerned relatives bout my status and hockey career... Yeah.. Im strikin it big in the damn sports circle in Spore.. Haha! But nevertheless, i will make an effort this year to at least do visiting on the 1st day to my grannies places.. Haha!! And catchup with my 'diff-wavelength' cousins.. Haha...

I cant buy any of those things on my list for myself.. * for ur info, i always believe in getting the thingys tt one want thru your own means.. If u work hard.. U deserve to reward yourself with something!* I'm so tempted to go.. Shall find out more before anything is confirmed..

Im so so so tired... So so so tired...Guess wat..im bloggin as though im writin an email.. Haha... Gonna fake the hardworkin-ness.. Haha... Cleared tonnes of work this morning.. From updatin the the database with the whole of jan's events.. Burnt pix CDs of the Honorary Graduate Ceremony.. Haha...
So now.. I dunno why.. Im feelin real lethargic... So tired... Perhaps from ytd's trainin... Had a meetin b4 trainin... Was talkin bout the Guangzhou trip... None of the keepers could make it.. I cant cos NUS Open House falls on 12March.. N the trip is from 1-10Mar.. So i juz opt out of this trip... Hais... But i dun understand y coach insists on goin on with this trip.. Hais.. So many from the senior team cant make it.. Hais.. Well..he pulled me aside last nite.. N ask me to try askin..so i spoke to my mgr this morn.. Well.. She said shdnt be a prob.. Haha.. Yeah.. But i cant be overly excited cos i still need to go thru my deputy director n director.. Have informed Mindy bout the urgency for my letter to come in.. Im prayin hard!!!!!
